Butler's Tiers

A mahogany two tier Butler’s tray table, the rectangular top with a removable bevelled glass tray, with three ‘X’ form brass supports below on square tapering legs terminating in brass cappings. The original Regency, circa 1820.

The Admiralty collection was inspired by the second Earl Spencer, appointed 1st Lord of the Admiralty in 1795. George John’s first slice of luck was to succeed the unpopular Lord Chatham.
